The Sheboygan Water Utility has submitted an application to increase water rates to the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. Any rate changes would only apply to the water-related portions of the municipal billing, which also includes sewer and garbage/recycling fees. The rate application primarily addresses new costs associated with the $41M Raw Water Improvements project and with reduced state funding for lead service line replacements. Any rate adjustments would be anticipated to go into effect early in 2024.
